It is a joy to visit every corner of Spen Valley as your MP, and meet the fantastic local people who keep our businesses, community groups, public buildings, and sports clubs running. It would be impossible to name everywhere I have visited and every meeting I have held since I became your MP last year, so please do check my social media channels to see what I am doing each week.

 

I regularly visit local schools delivering assemblies, meeting with their Student Councils, or joining in with community events. I have met with countless sports groups, to discuss the power that physical activity can have on your wellbeing - something that is very important to me. I have met with the people behind our vital local services, including our foodbanks, our churches and mosques, and our libraries. I have donated over £1,000 to Spen Valley charities and voluntary groups. I have met with businesses and enterprises big and small, and offered my team’s support where they need it.

 

I have held meetings with constituents about a range of issues that I know matter to local people, including SEND provision, the NHS, road safety, local assets such as our Town Hall, and transport links.
